American dreams

Current number of unemployed people in America is 14.1 million, displaced out of their jobs after economic slowdown. This is representing a rate of 9.2% of total population an increased by more than half million people over the month.

More and more jobless citizens are forced to live in tents, and in New Jersey some displaced workers choose to occupy a new American dream in tents or make shift temporary sheds to cover their heads at night and day.

The congress today compromised with the debt issue between rivals in the government. Republicans and Democrats agreed to raise debt ceiling to $17trillion and the agreement will reduce the debts at$2.5trillion pa over ten years. Both rivals agreed to reduce spending and cuts but this will need endorsement by the congress as soon as possible.

As a comparison, the unemployed American represents at least 1/2 of Malaysian‘s population of 28 million. Some of them are under government subsidy and benefits.

A great nation that has gone astray from the time Mr Bush had decided to spend money to destroy weapons of mass destruction belonging to Mr Saddam the great, which, by the way weren’t found in Iraq. Mr Saddam’s death doesn’t stop his missing weapons of mass destruction to ‘mass-destruct’ the American people after all. It will take a longer time to completely destroy the whole American dreams, as it seems from the dangling debt issues which fret the whole world’s economy too. And countries in Europe too, which spent money to aid the American finding the missing weapons and became partners in killing Saddam are messy with huge debts. Mr Saddam surely has arisen from his grave to “9/1” the American and his enemies once more, but this time is much harder.

Using a Merc, but live in a makeup tent is a dream come true after failing the one and only American dream.

Good luck to all of you Americans. We have seen the worst. This isn’t that bad. At least you guys have a chair and a lounge in the tent, and proper non leaking  roofs. Some other people in the countries you guys have “destroyed” or wage a war can see the star at night and the sun at daytime while living in their tents.

Read God’s written statements everyday, if you must.

The only one religion in this world that has a written statement from creator of the universe is Islam, and that written statement is Koran.

Read it everyday if you must, and that makes you “faith literate”. In the current turmoil of the world politics, where lies are abundance, the politicians surely in dire need of a constant touch on the reality, and that surely isn’t available from the mouth of the people from next door, to be safe it must be a God given statement.

Once a reluctant debater on religion, and co-spinner Alastair Campbell famous “”We don’t do God”, Mr Tony Blair has become increasing open about the impotance of religion. Mr Blair said reading the Islamic religion‘s holy book – considered by Muslims to be the exact words of God – ensured he remained ‘faith-literate’.

He was Prime Minister when the July 7 suicide bombers attacked London in 2005, murdering 52 innocent people.

Not only does reading the Koran support his peace envoy role, it also gives him something in common with sister-in-law Lauren Booth.

Journalist Miss Booth – Cherie Blair’s half sister – raised eyebrows after announcing last October that she had converted to Islam after what she described as a ‘holy experience’ during a visit to a shrine in Iran.

In 2006 he said the Koran was a ‘reforming book, it is inclusive. It extols science and knowledge and abhors superstition. It is practical and way ahead of its time in attitudes to marriage, women and governance’.

If people of other religions believe in the Koran, words from God, who are we if we still make reference to other written statements which are not realistic?

Pencuri tarbus dan Robin Hood

Sociologist Anthony Giddens is a recent former...

SEA wolfs (wolves) and local Robin Hood’s Third Way

Bill Clinton (left) and Tony Blair at the Conf...

South East Asia‘s wolfs are predominantly immigrants. They dominate the SEA economy and the market places. They play smart during the First Way and the Second Way economies. They monopolize the monopolistic and “gangsteristic” social economy.

Now they want the British Tony Blair and the US Clinton’s Third Way economies.

When a government goes third way thus it adopts a frier market force and delivers the “land and capital” to the masses, as evidenced in Ipoh‘s 2008 land givings, the time when wolfs (wolves) were beginning to climb out of the their smart holes.

They are making ways to catch local deers or pelanduk. They want to hold the area as their own catchment area. This is the South East Asia region.

What can pelanduk do to prevent third way killings?.

They need a modern Robin Hood to spoil the whole of the scheme.

Please wake up potential Robin Hoods do you job to save the South East Asia from SEA Wolfs (wolves).

What is third way, a definition ” here at palgrave com – pdf”

Another quick understanding of third way economy here at cesj com.

A quick revision here:

Distributism (also known as distributionism, distributivism) is a third-way economic philosophy formulated by such Catholic thinkers as G. K. Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc to apply the principles of Catholic social teaching articulated by the Catholic Church, especially in Pope Leo XIII‘s encyclical Rerum Novarum and more expansively explained by Pope Pius XI‘s encyclical Quadragesimo Anno.

According to distributism, the ownership of the means of production should be spread as widely as possible among the general populace, rather than being centralized under the control of the state (state socialism) or a few large businesses or wealthy private individuals (plutarchic capitalism). A summary of distributism is found in Chesterton’s statement: “Too much capitalism does not mean too many capitalists, but too few capitalists.”

Essentially, distributism distinguishes itself by its distribution of property (not to be confused with redistribution of capital that would be carried out by most socialist plans of governance). While socialism allows no individuals to own productive property (it all being under state, community, or workers’ control, with exceptions such as mutualism), distributism itself seeks to ensure that most people will become owners of productive property. As Belloc stated, the distributive state (that is, the state which has implemented distributism) contains “an agglomeration of families of varying wealth, but by far the greater number of owners of the means of production.” This broader distribution does not extend to all property, but only to productive property; that is, that property which produces wealth, namely, the things needed for man to survive. It includes land, tools, etc.

Distributism has often been described as a “third way”, in opposition to both socialism and capitalism. Thomas Storck argues that “both socialism and capitalism are products of the European Enlightenment and are thus modernizing and anti-traditional forces. In contrast, distributism seeks to subordinate economic activity to human life as a whole, to our spiritual life, our intellectual life, our family life”.

Some have seen it more as an aspiration, which has been successfully realised in the short term by commitment to the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity (these being built into financially independent local co-operatives and family owned, small businesses), though proponents also cite such periods as the Middle Ages as examples of the historical long-term viability of distributism.
